Giant Panda tour is one of the most attractive experiences in the world, not to mention in Southern China. Spending more than half a day on bullet trains, travelers could get to Chengdu from Guangzhou to see lively Giant Pandas, taste spicy Sichuan Cuisine and transfer to Leshan, Emeishan, Dujiangyan and other destinations in Sichuan. Every day, there are 9 daily bullet trains departing from Guangzhou to Chengdu via Yangshuo, Guilin, Guiyang and Chongqing. Both the first train D1849 (07:28-17:21) and the last D1834 (13:18-23:23) take nearly 10 hours. For travelers, it’s highly recommended to take trains before 10:00am in Guangzhou, because later trains will get to Chengdu in late evening, not so convenient to transfer to your hotel
Actually, Chengdu has much more high speed train travel routes than the above lines.
